Chuck’s Podcast with Gary Sullivan

CME Sewer Columbus repair OH Pipe

On December 1, 2018, our owner, Chuck Menkhaus, was invited to speak on Gary Sullivan’s podcast, “At Home with Gary Sullivan.” The podcast is focused on providing home improvement and maintenance tips to its listeners. Gary also regularly discusses the latest and greatest technologies that could be beneficial to any property owner.

For more than twenty years, CME has been the Cincinnati tri-state area’s trusted sewer and pipe repair professionals. On February 1, 2011 CME lined its first sewer pipe, and even though pipe lining was first introduced to the sewer industry in the 1970’s, we understand that the process can be confusing. That is why we love having the opportunity to educate our community and customers whenever possible.

At CME, our goal is to provide a comprehensive and thorough service that fully addresses the rehabilitation of your underground sewer and/or plumbing system. When we were invited to appear on “At Home with Gary Sullivan,” we were excited to be able to share our down-to-earth industry knowledge and lining experience with the community that has trusted us over the last two decades.

In the podcast, we go over a number of subjects related to the history of pipe lining technology, its materials, and the common problems associated with aging underground sewer and wastewater systems. Many residential, commercial and even industrial buildings now have aging pipes, and our goal is to rehabilitate their entire underground piping system without any unnecessary excavation and subsequent reconstruction costs. With our years of experience, we understand how the surrounding infrastructure of a property, such as landscaping, is an intrinsic value of the property, and nobody likes to see their property destroyed due to an unseen, underground issue.

Fortunately, trenchless technologies allow us to repair most underground pipes with the least possible disturbance so that your home and/or business experience minimal disruption and inconvenience. During the podcast, we fully detail our pipe-lining process and how it is ultimately much more affordable than the traditional dig-and-replace method.

Our final subject in this podcast details when you should look to call the pipe-lining experts at CME. Although you may try your best to perform regular maintenance on your aging and deteriorating underground sewer and/or plumbing system, unexpected repairs are still going to be unavoidable. If you notice any air releasing from your pipes (gurgling) and/or water pooling in your drains or yard, then contact our team of professionals as soon as possible to come take a look. We always perform initial camera inspections to identify and accurately diagnose the problem, before proposing any type of repair. These camera inspections are recorded and shared with you so that you may see the issues for yourself. We hope you enjoy listening and let us know if you have any questions.
